On Friday afternoon
October 27th and following our weekly visit to the School Library
Jeannine spoke to the children on why it is important for everyone in our
community to help reduce the use of
plastic bags and plastic containers that we all use in our daily lives.
Jeannine showed us many
different varieties of plastic that are causing harm to our environment
especially plastic supermarket bags which are clogging up the landfills and
harming wild-life in our oceans.
Jeannine then asked
questions on how we could reduce using plastic in our homes and school.
