Road Safety with Constable Ross

We had Constable Ross talk to us about road safety. Miss Shine got into Constable Ross's car and we walked behind the car.  Miss Shine did not always see us.

We learnt that drivers in cars cannot always see children when they are behind the car, so we have to be super careful. If we have to go behind a  parked car, like at the supermarket, we need to watch out for reversing lights on the car, listen for the sound of the engine, and look at the driver so we can judge whether it is safe. It is much better to walk in front of a parked car so the driver can see us.
