Sam, the scientist, put two different liquids into one conical flask. Then she said a spell and rubbed the bottom of the flask. At the end of the spell, the two liquids mixed together and made it turn into a black liquid.

We tried to work out what was happening. We got Sam to try it with Ryker using his magic finger to see the liquids turned black. We got Sam to try it with different amounts of liquid. The liquids changed to black every time.

In the end, we decided the liquids changed because of the timing, which was ten seconds.
